Aquarius Inflatables has proven it's dominance of this sport yet again, winning the most coveted 'World Championship' title; p750 blueprint!  This is a great achievement and follows on from great success , having 30 boats in the top 40 of the last South African nationals.

"News from South Africa: The World Championship was a tremendous success, fantastic racing and all three disciplines raced – Well done Greg and his team! The title for the P750 Blue Print class was the main championship being contended for as there was an International fleet (establishing a true world championship) with 2 Swedish, 1 New Zealand and the other teams being from South Africa. Unfortunately for the P750 Modified and Standard class there were only South African entries and no other nations which is a shame as its not really a world status with entries only from one country, but never the less the racing was competitive and challenging; hopefully the credit-crunch might be over by the time the next world’s takes place and other teams from around the globe including the UK will be able to enter. Feedback from the racers on the 2008 model Aquarius hull has been great!  So far the main comments have been focused on how soft and forgiving the ride is, yet it still retains it's highspeed and maneuverability which keeps it at the top of the podiums around the world.  The softer ride was definatley something Aquarius has been chasing to ensure the general boating public are satisfied with the ride, however not at the cost of being an 'extreme' and 'race winning' design.

The results have now been confirmed!  Aquarius Aquacat Thundercat's have won all 3 classes in the 2008 South African Nationals!

Congratulation's must also go to Fat Cat for coming 2nd in his rookie year and also to Paul Byrnes & Cory Kremers for finishing in 3rd.

Brisbane Coast Thundercat's has had a ripper first year and placed 2 boats in the top 4 with Sydney taking 1st, 3rd.

What is impressive, is a standard 50hp Aquarius finished only 3 minutes behind the 'open class' winner, a 70hp powered Gemini.

One on One circuit racing

The field will be split into two.  Field one races on Saturday and the winning team receives $250.00 cash and one nights accommodation for two at the Motor Inn by the airport.  Field two races on Sunday and the winner of Sunday receives $250.00 cash then gets to compete against the winner of Saturday for the Aquarius Knockout Wars Trophy and $400.00 cash.

Practice all day Thursday and Friday

On Saturday night there will be a $600.00 bar tab for the Event Organisers and Percipients’

Well done to Stephan Lindeque & Danny Havenga for winning this years Thundercat Racing World Cup!

A big well done to Stephan winning the World Cup 2 years in a row and doing so in an Aquarius Inflatable Thundercat!

This is great news and once again demonstrates the awesome ability of the only seam welded and proven racing thundercat.

Aquarius boats dominated the event taking 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
