Aquarius has been at the forefront of inflatable race boat technology and has won just about every major title in South Africa and Australia including the Constructor's Championship for the past 6 seasons. Aquarius has established World Speed Records in the P750S Class and the Modified Class, both records are recognised by the UIM.
The AQUA-CAT is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 85 km/h with a standard 50 Hp Tohatsu. Using a blueprint 50 Hp Tohatsu the boat is capable of speeds in excess of 95 km/h.
The race winning 4.0m AQUA-CAT is a leader in its field. Designed and built by Rowan Hawkes, with input from crews who race these boats, and are continuously striving and challenging the extreme to bring to you, the future racers in this sport, the best technology can offer.

Hot Air Seam Welding
Hot air rotary heat-sealing is a welding process used to join thermoplastic industrial fabrics and films using very precise heat, speed and pressure settings. The correct combination of these three parameters allows for the achievement of a complete weld. In the case of hot air, heat is provided by blowing compressed air across electrical heat elements and is injected at the welding point. The tightly controlled temperature can range from
40°C to 750°C.

Aquarius are one of the only manufacturers to offer full wash though stainless steel transom, which will should outlast the life of the boat. (Other manufacturers use weaker aluminium which is subject to cracks and costly repairs after only a few years use)

twist even in a strait line which translates to speed. (Simple
test is to support the standard boards upright between your feet
and twist with your hands “approximately 110mm of twist per board
x 2 =220mm of hull twist).
Weight – Carbon / Kevlar boards weigh approximately ½
the weight of the conventional marine ply boards (increases your
overall acceleration “power to weight”).
